Fotostory: Stefplus aus Belgien, Cecotto Nr. 382/505

Original-Einsendung aus Belgien, im englischen Wortlaut belassen: ein Cecotto in Macaoblau, dessen erster Halter die BMW AG selbst war.

I bought this Cecotto in Germany four months ago. The car is strictly original except the black front indicators and the Eisenmann exhaust. As you can see, this is a Macaoblau car built in May '89 with all the special equipment of a Cecotto. It's number 382/505 and is in very good condition regarding the mileage. Protection wax is still on the engine and the upholstery is like new.

I only had to change the silent blocks of the rear axle, which is common on the E30, and the front suspension arms. I also replaced the front lights with new ones and the grills with Sport Evo ones. The illuminated gear knob was gone, so it also had to be replaced. As I was busy with it, the gear shift has become a bit shorter thanks to the good tip seen on s14.de! I am the third owner of the car – the first one was BMW AG! A real pleasure to drive on sunny days …

Original features: electric sunroof, electric windows, big on-board computer, green stripe in the windscreen, 16-inch wheels with black centre, height-adjustable lights, Becker stereo and sound system, electronic temperature adjustment, mirror with lights, black leather and Motorsport design upholstery, illuminated gear knob. Mileage 134,000 km, built in May '89.

Next to come: probably a KW suspension variant 2 and some nice 17-inch wheels to make it a bit more aggressive – but nothing that would damage that nice Cecotto!
